Convert Team Drive Files to PDF

Team drives, now called shared drives in Google Workspace, store documents that belong to the whole team. Converting team drive files to PDF works from the shared drives section of Google Drive, and the process is identical to personal Drive conversion.

Navigating to your team drive

In Google Drive, click 'Shared drives' in the left sidebar. Your team drives are listed there. Click the team drive you need, navigate to the relevant folder, and select the files you want to convert.

Running the extension on team drive files

With files selected in the team drive, click the Docs to PDF extension icon. The extension handles team drive files the same way as personal Drive files. Your access level on the team drive determines whether the export succeeds.

Managing exported PDFs for the team

Exported PDFs land on your local machine. If the team needs access to the PDFs, upload them to a shared folder in the team drive or use a shared storage location your team already uses.
