Convert Drive Files to PDF from the Drive UI
The Docs to PDF extension adds PDF conversion capability directly to the Google Drive user interface. You do not leave Drive, open another app, or visit a separate website. Everything happens within the Drive window you already have open.
How the extension integrates with Drive
After installing, the extension icon appears in your Chrome toolbar. When you have Google Drive open and files selected, clicking the icon triggers the conversion. The extension reads your current Drive selection and begins exporting. The Drive tab stays open and you can continue working in Drive.
Right-click context menu option
In addition to the toolbar icon, some extension versions add an option to the right-click context menu in Drive. Right-click a file and look for 'Convert to PDF' in the menu. This provides a quick way to convert single files without using the toolbar.
Staying in your workflow
Staying in Drive means you can convert files while organizing, reviewing, or browsing. You do not need to switch contexts or remember to go back to Drive after converting. The conversion happens as part of your regular Drive workflow.
