Convert Google Slides to PDF With Multiple Slides Per Page
Multiple slides per page is the right format for compact PDFs when every slide does not need to be read at full size. Setting the layout to 4 or 6 slides per page in Google Slides and then exporting with the extension creates a compact reference document.
Choosing the number of slides per page
In Google Slides, go to File > Print settings and preview. The layout options include 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 9 slides per page. Choose based on how much content is on each slide. Text-heavy slides with small fonts become unreadable at 6-per-page. Visual slides with large text work fine at 6-per-page.
Saving paper and space
A 40-slide presentation exported at 1-per-page is a 40-page PDF. At 4-per-page, it is 10 pages. This is practical for printed handouts and for reducing file size slightly since each page contains less unique rendered content.
Mixing layouts is not supported
Google Slides applies a single layout setting to the entire export. You cannot have some pages with 1 slide and others with 4 slides in the same PDF. For mixed layouts, export the relevant sections separately and combine the PDFs afterward.
