Merge Google Sheets with Charts into PDF
Charts in Google Sheets export as crisp static images in PDF. When you merge multiple Sheets that include charts, the visual data from each file appears in the combined document exactly as it looks in the spreadsheet.
How charts export in Sheets PDFs
Google Sheets renders charts using vector graphics where possible, which produces sharp images at any zoom level in the PDF. Bar charts, line charts, and pie charts all export well. Complex custom visualizations may render as raster images at a fixed resolution.
Keeping charts current
Charts in the merged PDF reflect the data at the time of export. If underlying data changes, run the merge again to get an updated PDF with current charts. The source Sheets are not modified by the merge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will interactive chart features work in the merged PDF?
No. PDFs are static. Interactive tooltips, zoom, and filtering do not work in PDF format. The chart appears as a fixed image.
