Print Only Google Docs from a Drive Folder
Many Drive folders contain a mix of Docs, Sheets, Slides, and other files. If you only want to print the Docs, you have two options: filter the folder view to show only Docs before selecting, or manually select only the Docs you want. Either way, the extension converts only what you have selected.
Filtering by type in Drive
In Google Drive, use the search bar with the 'Type' filter set to 'Google Docs'. Navigate to your folder or search for Docs within it. The results show only Docs, which you can then select and convert.
Manual selection by type
In the folder view, sort by type by clicking the 'Type' column header in list view. This groups all Docs together. Use Shift+click to select just the Docs block, then run the extension.
The extension's automatic filtering
Even if your selection includes Sheets or Slides, the extension processes all of them. The only files it skips are those not in a Google format. If you truly want only Docs, use manual selection before running.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the extension skip non-Doc files automatically?
It skips uploaded files not in Google format. It converts Docs, Sheets, and Slides if they are in your selection. To get only Docs, filter your selection before running the extension.
Can I deselect Sheets and Slides after pressing Ctrl+A?
Yes. Press Ctrl+A to select all, then hold Ctrl and click on each Sheet or Slides file to deselect them.
