Convert All Google Sheets to PDF at Once
When you need every spreadsheet in a folder as a PDF, press Ctrl+A or Cmd+A in the folder view to select all files, then run the Docs to PDF extension. Each spreadsheet becomes a separate PDF named after the original file. The extension skips non-spreadsheet files automatically, so you do not need to manually filter your selection.
Preparing the folder before export
Make sure the folder contains only the spreadsheets you want. If there are older versions or drafts you do not need, move them to a subfolder first. This keeps the batch clean and prevents unwanted files from slipping into your downloads.
Running the full selection
Open the folder in Google Drive, press Ctrl+A or Cmd+A, and click the Docs to PDF icon. The extension reads the selection, identifies Google Sheets, and begins exporting them. A progress indicator shows how many files have been processed.
After the export
All PDFs land in your Chrome downloads folder named after their source spreadsheets. If you want them organized differently, configure Chrome to ask for a save location before each download, or move the files into a named folder immediately after the batch finishes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will non-spreadsheet files in the folder cause errors?
No. The extension ignores file types it cannot convert, like uploaded images or Word documents. It processes only Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
What if some sheets have download restrictions?
Files with download restrictions set by the owner will fail. The extension reports a count of failed exports at the end of the batch.
