Export Google Sheet as PDF
Exporting a Google Sheet as PDF is a single click with the Docs to PDF extension. Open the spreadsheet, click the extension icon, and the PDF is ready. The output follows whatever print settings are active in the document.
Before you export
Check the page setup first. Go to File > Page Setup and confirm the orientation, paper size, and scaling are what you want. For most spreadsheets, landscape orientation and 'Fit to page width' scaling produce the cleanest result.
Exporting from inside the sheet
With the Google Sheet open, click the Docs to PDF extension icon. The export runs immediately. The PDF includes the active sheet unless you have configured the print scope to include the full workbook.
Exporting from Drive
Select the spreadsheet file in Google Drive and click the extension icon. This exports the full document without opening it. Print settings saved in the file are respected.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does exporting from Drive respect my print settings?
Yes. Print settings are stored in the Google Sheet file. Exporting from Drive or from inside the open file uses the same saved settings.
What if my spreadsheet has multiple sheets?
By default, only the active sheet exports. To export all sheets, change the print scope to 'Workbook' in File > Print before exporting.
