Convert Google Sheets to PDF Without Gridlines
Removing gridlines from Google Sheets PDFs gives the output a cleaner, more professional appearance. Setting this in the Sheets file means the extension will produce a gridline-free PDF every time you convert that file.
Turning off gridlines in Google Sheets
Open the spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Go to File > Page setup. Click the 'Sheet' tab in the dialog. Uncheck 'Gridlines'. Click 'OK'. Save the spreadsheet. The next time you export from Drive using the extension, the PDF will not include gridlines.
When gridline-free PDFs make sense
Gridlines help when presenting raw data, but they can look cluttered in a report or dashboard. Remove gridlines when the spreadsheet will be shared as a finished document: a financial summary, a project tracker for a client, or a schedule shared with your team.
Row and column headers
Row numbers and column letters are also configurable in the same Page setup > Sheet panel. Uncheck 'Row and column headings' to remove them from the PDF. Most professional documents do not include these headers.

Does the extension have a gridline toggle, or do I need to set it in Sheets?
The extension uses the print settings saved in the Sheets file. Set the gridline preference in File > Page setup inside Sheets, and the extension will respect it.
