One-Click Resume Template to PDF
Your resume template is ready in Google Docs. Converting it to PDF should take one click, not five. Install the Docs to PDF extension, select your resume in Drive, and click the icon. The PDF is in your downloads folder before you have time to switch windows.
How one-click conversion works
Resume template conversion with the extension skips every manual step in the File > Download flow. There is no menu to open, no format to select, and no dialog to dismiss. The extension icon sits in your Chrome toolbar. Click it while the resume is selected in Drive and the export begins immediately.
From inside the Docs editor
If you are editing the resume template directly in Google Docs, the extension still works. Click the extension icon from the editor view and it exports the current document. You do not need to go back to Drive first.
Where the PDF goes
The PDF is saved to your Chrome downloads folder with the same name as the Google Doc. If your template is named 'Resume Template - Marketing', the PDF will be 'Resume Template - Marketing.pdf'. You can configure Chrome to ask where to save each file if you prefer to choose the location.
