Convert a Shared Google Sheet to PDF
Converting a shared Google Sheet to PDF follows the same process as converting your own spreadsheets. If you have Viewer access or higher and the file owner has not disabled downloads, the extension can export it to PDF from your Drive.
Finding shared Sheets in Drive
Shared spreadsheets appear in the Shared with Me section of Google Drive or in a shared Drive folder. Navigate to the file, click the checkbox to select it, and run the extension.
Permission requirements
Viewer access is sufficient for PDF export unless the owner has enabled the download restriction. If you can open the file in Sheets, you can almost certainly export it. If the extension fails, check whether File > Download is available inside the Sheets editor.
The PDF captures the file at a point in time
A PDF of a shared spreadsheet captures the data at the moment of export. If collaborators continue editing the Sheets file after you export, the PDF does not update. Convert at the point when the data is finalized for your purposes.
