Bulk Convert Google Docs to PDF with a Chrome Extension
The Docs to PDF Chrome extension adds a bulk conversion button directly to your Google Drive workflow. You do not need to visit a separate website or upload your files anywhere. Select the documents in Drive, click the extension icon, and the PDFs appear in your downloads folder.
Installing the extension
Search for 'Docs to PDF' in the Chrome Web Store or follow the direct link from docs-to-pdf.com. Click 'Add to Chrome' and accept the permissions. The extension needs access to Google Drive to read the list of selected files and to call the export API. It does not store your documents.
Using it for bulk conversion
Open Google Drive, select the documents you want, and click the extension icon in your toolbar. If you do not see the icon, click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome to pin extensions. The extension opens a small panel showing the selected files and a convert button.
Why a Chrome extension works better than a web tool
Web-based PDF converters require you to upload your files to an external server. That means your documents leave Google's infrastructure, conversion takes longer because of upload time, and you depend on the third-party service's uptime. A Chrome extension that calls Google's own API avoids all of that.
