Bulk Convert Google Slides to PDF
Exporting Google Slides presentations to PDF one at a time means going through File > Download for every single deck. If you manage course materials, weekly reports, or client presentations, that adds up quickly. The Docs to PDF extension lets you select multiple presentations in Google Drive and convert them all to PDF in one batch. Each presentation exports as a separate PDF, with slides laid out exactly as they appear in the editor, and the whole thing runs through Google's own export engine.
Select and convert multiple presentations
Open Google Drive and navigate to the folder containing your presentations. Use list view for easier file selection. Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and click each presentation you want to convert. To select everything in the folder, press Ctrl+A or Cmd+A. Click the Docs to PDF extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to start the batch. Each presentation is processed in sequence.
Slide layout options in the PDF
Google Slides exports give you a few layout choices: one slide per page, multiple slides per page as a handout, or slides with speaker notes. The Docs to PDF extension uses the export settings configured in each presentation file. To choose a layout, open the presentation, go to File > Print settings and preview, set your preferences, and save. The bulk export respects those settings.
Speaker notes in bulk exports
Speaker notes can be included or excluded in the PDF. To include them, open the presentation and go to File > Print settings and preview, then select 'Include notes'. Save and close. The bulk export picks up that setting. If you do not want notes in the PDF, make sure 'Include notes' is not selected before running the batch.
Shared drives and classroom files
Bulk conversion works on presentations you own and presentations shared with you at Viewer access or higher. This includes files in Google Workspace shared drives and presentations stored in Google Classroom drive folders. If a file has download restrictions, it will fail and be reported at the end of the batch.
Free plan and limits
The extension is free to install. The free plan includes a monthly conversion allowance. Each presentation counts as one conversion regardless of how many slides it has. The Pro plan removes the monthly limit for high-volume users. No watermarks are added to any exported PDFs.

Can I include speaker notes when bulk converting Google Slides?
Yes. Set 'Include notes' in File > Print settings and preview for each presentation before running the bulk export. The extension uses those saved settings.
Can I export Google Slides as a handout with multiple slides per page?
Yes. Set the layout in File > Print settings and preview before exporting. Options include 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 9 slides per page.
Why do some slides look different in the PDF than in the presentation?
Custom fonts that are not embedded may substitute in the PDF. Animations and transitions do not appear in the PDF since it is a static format. The slide content itself renders correctly.
Does bulk conversion work on Google Slides shared from a Classroom?
Yes. Google Classroom stores files in Google Drive. Open the associated Drive folder, select the presentations, and run the extension as normal.
Can I bulk convert presentations to PDF for free?
Yes. The free plan handles bulk conversions within a monthly allowance. No watermarks are added. For high-volume exports, the Pro plan removes the limit.
