Batch Export All Google Docs in a Drive Folder as PDF
Batch exporting from a folder is the fastest way to convert all documents in a project or subject folder to PDF. Open the folder, select all, and run the extension.
Navigate to the folder first
Open the specific folder in Google Drive rather than selecting files from the root. This keeps the selection clean and ensures you are only exporting files from the intended folder.
Select all with Ctrl+A
Press Ctrl+A on Windows or Cmd+A on Mac to select all items in the folder. The extension will process all Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides in the selection. Non-convertible file types are skipped.
After the batch
All PDFs land in your downloads folder named after their source documents. Move them to a dedicated subfolder after the batch completes to keep your downloads folder organized.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the extension recurse into subfolders?
No. It converts only the files directly visible in the folder you have open. For subfolders, open each one and run the extension again.
Can I export a folder from a shared drive?
Yes. Navigate into the shared drive folder in Drive and run the extension as normal.
