Export Google Slides as PDF
Exporting Google Slides as PDF is the cleanest way to share a presentation with people who may not have PowerPoint or a Google account. One click with the extension produces a PDF where each slide is a full-page image.
One slide per page
The default export places each slide on its own page in the PDF. For a 20-slide presentation, you get a 20-page PDF. Each slide is rendered at full resolution, so text and graphics are sharp.
Export from inside the presentation
Open the presentation in Google Slides and click the Docs to PDF extension icon. The export runs immediately. No print dialog, no format selection, no waiting.
Export from Drive
Select the presentation file in Google Drive and click the extension icon. The PDF is exported using the default settings saved in the file.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the PDF show one slide per page?
Yes, by default. To change to a multi-slide handout layout, adjust the print settings in Google Slides before exporting.
Are slide numbers included in the PDF?
Slide numbers appear in the PDF if they are enabled in the presentation's View > Slide numbers settings.
