Export Google Slides as PDF Without Notes
Exporting without notes is the default behavior and the most common use case. The PDF contains only the slides, one per page, with no speaker notes visible.
Default export is notes-free
When you click the Docs to PDF extension icon from inside a Google Slides presentation, the default export does not include speaker notes. The PDF is slides only.
Confirming the settings
If you previously changed the print layout to include notes, you need to reset it. Go to File > Print settings and preview, change the layout back to '1 slide' or the slides-only layout, then close and export.
Why notes-free is usually what you want
When sharing a deck with an audience, clients, or colleagues who were not in the meeting, notes-free is the professional default. Speaker notes often contain reminders, talking points, and internal comments that are not intended for the audience.
