Exporting a shared Google Slides deck as PDF works with Viewer access. If you can open and view the presentation, you can export it as a PDF using the Docs to PDF online converter.
Access requirements
Viewer access is enough to export a shared presentation as PDF. If the file owner has disabled download for Viewers, the export will fail. Ask the owner to allow downloads if you need a PDF copy.
Exporting from the shared link
If you received a shared link, open it once so the presentation shows up under 'Shared with me'. Then pick it in the Docs to PDF online converter and click Convert. The export runs the same as any file you own.
Exporting from Shared with me in Drive
